Good morning All and thank you for accepting me to this group. I recently purchased my first treadle machine, and I am in LOVE with it. However, the best I can figure out is that it is a Badged White Machine. I will have pics below. It says A. G. Mason "New Treasure". I really can't find much information on the web about it, so I am hoping some of you will know more! I have found a young man local that works on vintage sewing machines and between the two of us we thought we had found a shuttle and bobbins for it, it did not come with them. The ones we ordered from eBay did not fit. I am learning that the shuttle and bobbin are very specific to this machine. Does anyone out there have any connection to someone I could purchase a shuttle and bobbins from??? Any help is very much appreciated!!
Well I am really struggling to get my photos to upload. It keeps telling me they are too large, even though I have resized them to less than 1MB. Until then, I will keep trying!

Welcome to Quilting Board. Did you try to preview? I wouldn't think you would get a message saying the image was too large if it was less than 1MB.
According to this page https://www.flickr.com/photos/kpinke...57622344687631, the New Treasure takes a Boye #11 shuttle and uses Boye #12 needles. The needles are equivalent to 20x1 needles which are few and far between- if you can find them. If you do a search for "15x1 rather than 20x1 needles" you will find a neat trick to be able to use the modern domestic needles. As far as the shuttle and bobbins for it, I did find some at https://www.sewingmachine221sale.com/store/page115.html but rather expensive for me. You never know when they may pop up on ebay. I couldn't find any right now, though.
Good luck.
I'm going to include my usual instructions for posting pictures. I'd sure like to see your machine.
We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf and on an ipad at Posting Pictures From an iPad
Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button. As shown at Standard Sewing Machine Co. Paragon
I have found that only the big red "Reply" button or "Quote" work to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures.

Some additional info regarding reducing images at post #4 and images for the scroll and upload button can be found at #5 of quilt block ID?
Another way to post pictures can be found at 2021/2022, 2.5” Birthday Swap
And how to use an ipad to post pictures can be found at Uploading photos and Posting Pictures From an iPad
Or simply - Make sure pictures are smaller than 2MB
Click on red "Reply" button
Click on the paper clip icon
Click browse - choose picture/s. (only 5 allowed per post)
Once they show up as being loaded, Scroll over to the right side and click on "Upload"
After the pictures show up as being attached, you can close that window and go back to the screen to finish posting your post.
Some additional notes -
The photos generally need to be reduced to less than 2MB in size. I have heard of people sending an email to themselves as it will ask if you want to reduce the size.
I have an android phone and when I tried to reply on Quilting Board while in mobile view None of the options for adding pictures was available. However, there is an option down at the bottom left of the page that is for Full Site when I tapped on "Full Site" It then looked like the way it looks on my lap top. So it would have the Red Reply and the Go Advanced options.

Would it be possible that I have not been allowed to upload any pictures? The reason I ask is I just saved a snapshot.jpg of my pics and that file is only 28KB and it will not even let me upload it. I was going to show the file size of my 4 pics. The largest one is 596KB. I really want to share some pics with all of you. I am very excited about this machine and want to learn as much as possible about it!!
I followed the step-by-step instructions and clicked the upload and each time it tells me upload failed.

I also meant to tell you THANK YOU so much for the priceless information you provided. That was information I had not been able to locate. Now that I know what it takes, I can be on the lookout! Hopefully I can upload photos soon. I am very proud of this machine and was able to have a local young man make a belt for me!!!
Thank you again!
Thank you again!

Good morning and Happy Friday!! I have 3 photos I am trying to upload that I have saved as jpg and bmp files. All of them are less than 700KB, which it takes 1,024 KB to make one MB, so they should upload. I click the paperclip above, click choose file, scroll to the right and click upload and every time it tells me upload failed. I am at a loss and would LOVE to share my photos with all of you!! I truly appreciate ALL of the information and links you have provided and hope I can find a shuttle and some needles for my treadle. I do have a belt and she purrs! I even tried using a different browser to upload the photos to no avail....
