    Default River Sticks

This quilt was made from a variety of solid blues with sticks inserted semi-randomly and placed in alternating directions. The "sticks" are 1" wide and made from black and white crumbs that were initially sewn onto adding machine tape. Twin size at 66x88. quilting was just a 1/4 inch lines from the sticks with SITD between the blocks. Made this to give away, but I just fell in love with it, so it'll be mine at least for a while. Thanks for looking.

What a great way to use up some of those tiny pieces! They add so much character to your quilt, I'm not surprised you love it!

This is a beautiful quilt! I love your background colors and your 'sticks'.

This came out really pretty. I can’t blame you for keeping it awhile. I have one or two that I have held on to ( not used) but just held onto, ‘till I was ready to let go.

I like this pattern and have two layer cakes that one or the other this pattern would work with. Another bucket list add on for me. Thanks for sharing.

That is such a neat idea as I don't care for solids anyway and with what solids I might still have in my stash, this would be the way to use them up. I normally go for the blender fabrics. COOL!!!!

What a fabulous way to add sparkle to a quilt. Your sticks remind me of birch bark. Love it.

Great quilt. Doesn't look a bit like leftovers! Course, the blue attracted me immediately.
