In my mother's things I came across an old steamer, an Osrow Steamstress II. No instructions in the bag, just a small measuring cup and a tiny measuring spoon. I am a quilter and would dearly love to be able to use the steamer. Does anybody have instructions on how?

Found this:
How to use
Add 3 measuring spoons (included) of salt into the steamer (if you use it on 220V add 1 measuring spoon). Add 1 full measuring cup of tap water into the steamer. Close the handle and connect the plug to the steamer. Steam will come out in 10-30 seconds. You will get steam for 8-10 min. when the steam stop and you want to continue use, wait 2-3 min for the steamer to cool and add 2/3 measuring cup of tap water into the steamer - Additional salt no needed with every refill.

I found this listing that shows part of the manuals https://www.ebay.com/itm/256048421809 You might be able to ask if they could scan the manual for you?? I also found a couple of pictures of part of the instructions https://thumbs.worthpoint.com/zoom/i...0061cc2127.jpg and https://thumbs.worthpoint.com/zoom/i...ad2549fbad.jpg and https://retrophoria.com/seller/image...ull40768-5.jpg I, unfortunately, didn't get the URL, but I read that you don't have add salt the next time unless you rinse and empty it, which one of the instructions is to rinse and empty after use. There is also a Spanish youtube video that mentions the salt and water amount to use. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUzphPj-NQo

"When salt is added to a humidifier, it disrupts the bond between the water molecules while raising the boiling point of the water.
This means by adding a small amount of salt to a warm mist humidifier, the water molecules are pushed further apart, which results in them moving more freely converting liquid water into steam a lot easier. If your vaporizer isn’t generating enough steam, you can usually improve it by adding a pinch or two of salt to the water."
