Picking out seams. Although seam ripping is. part of sewing, too often I have become careless and sewed something incorrectly so I consider taking it apart to be a waste of time. I once sewed 80" of black on black, thought I had goofed and picked it all out only to discover that I hadn't made a mistake and resewed it exactly as it had been. Time waster!!

As far as I'm concerned, the basic day-to-day housework tasks are a waste of time, they keep me from my quilting and other interests.
I'm very happy here after my move, but I'm still playing the lottery and hoping for a housekeeper!

For me, it's trying to decide on a pattern to use. Even though I cleaned out and got rid of about 100 patterns that I'll never use, it still takes me forever to finally pick a pattern that suits both me and the fabric I want to use.

The internet. I’ve recently spent time deleting email accounts I really don’t enjoy or don’t even bother to read. Some of the quilt related emails are not quilts I would ever make or they are only there for a sales pitch.

I re-purchased the two rulers (one of which I hated using and swore I would never use again, but turns out I need it to trim some leader/ender units, ha). I'm drawing a complete blank on having taken the bags out of the magazine in the first place, and my imagination fails as to where I might have tucked them away.
Most of my time is wasted before I ever get to the sewing room.

The rabbit hole of the computer. Just looked into a project someone here posted about. Watched a video, checked prices at a couple of places. It's not for me, which is a good thing - if I was truly interested, I'd be looking for a good sale!
Then, another post mentioned "Tour de fabric". It sounds quite interesting. I want to find out what it is... Maybe tonight. Just finished lunch so my daytime surfing allotment is about up! Need to scan the rest of the new posts, first priority.
