Caffeine or none?
I do drink way more caffeine than I should. I have also gone cold turkey -- 0 caffeine for a year from any source with no difference in my chronic insomnia, but a groggier awake period.
I grew up a tea drinker. Coffee was a Sunday morning sort of thing, tea the rest of the time. I tried to add more dairy in my life and found I didn't like it in my tea without sugar but I do love a good cuppa. I could, however, drink coffee black or with just cream and that was fine. So when I had to cut both sweeteners and sugar out of my life (ack! that same year I couldn't have caffeine either), I went back to herb teas. Used to drink a lot of different herbal blends and generally grow or forage things to use. I have this whole new area to me with new plants that I haven't learned yet -- but I can still brew up some pretty tasty Alaskan stuff
Found a sweetener I could tolerate and am very happy to be back to tea, with milk and sweetener as my drink of choice.
Right now, I'm drinking a tea that nobody else seems to like -- but hey, there's enough of a market that it is readily available. Lapsang Souchong, a smoked tea. Is my favorite winter tea and love to drink when the snow is falling. I describe the smell of the tea leaves to be "old ski boot" or consider a leather hiking boot. I guess it's an acquired taste.

Black, no sweetener, Coffee all the way. I sip all day and up to about 9 pm. No sleep issues or jitters. I do enjoy a cup of tea occasionally. And my preferred tea is green. But have also made foraged tea that I’ve enjoyed. Weird thing: if my tea is hot, I don’t want anything added and if it’s iced tea it has to have sugar!

Black sugar sweetened hot tea for me. Can drink it all day long. I will also make sugar sweetened iced tea as well, but mostly in the summer. I can not stand the taste of coffee fixed any way.
DH is a straight black coffee drinker usually 6 to 10 cups a day and with tea he likes two cups a day, one with breakfast and one in the late afternoon with cream and artificial sweetener

I've cut myself to just 1 cup of java in the morning and from then on I'm drinking calory free lemonade and water while I quilt. Then at night it's hot lemon water using True Lemon packages. I use 5 packages to a 32oz mug. This True Lemon can be drank hot or cold plus you can use it in your cooking for when they call for a lemon wedge. I sprinkled it over a piece of fish I was cooking and it gave it just enough lemon flavor for me. This True Lemon stuff also comes in various flavors like Lime and can be found in the Walmart stores where they keep the sugar items, not the drink items. But I found the best deal is at Sam's Club where I can buy a case of 500 packages for a price. I also like to drink hot green tea that's de-caffinated at night from time to time.

I love a good cup of hot tea. I add honey and lemon juice. I have a lot of different loose leaf teas to use but have found the oolong gives me horrible headaches. The husband drinks black coffee all day long - takes 2 thermos full with him to work.

"..."old ski boot" or consider a leather hiking boot". Gosh, I'm thinking that is not for me, lol.
Many years ago, a coworker got me hooked on Green Mountain Caramel Vanilla Cream coffee, a light roast coffee. I add 2% milk, no sweetener. Did you know light roast coffee has more caffeine than darker roast? Counter-intuitive for most people, who seem to associate dark, bitter, strong coffee as having more caffeine.
Caffeine doesn't keep me awake at all; sometimes, I wish it would! If I don't drink coffee, though, I do get a caffeine headache, so know I am addicted to it. Due to stomach problems and Barrett's esophagus, I shouldn't drink it, so limit to one cup, max, per day. Sometimes only half a cup - and yes, with the price now, I do put the other haff in the refrigerator and warm it up the next morning. Silly, maybe, as it's about $.50 per cup, but dumping it seems so wasteful. Hey, we all have quirks.
I used to love tea, but it actually bothers my stomach more than coffee now, so rarely drink it. When I do, it's Harney and Sons Cinnamon Sunset with nothing added. Much as I love sweets (baked goods), I detest sweet beverages.
Now that the weather is so flipping cold (9° here this morning), I will actually heat water and drink it. Water is, by far, my beverage of choice. How dull!

Most any type of hot tea for me ... my likes vary somewhat seasonally. And too, then I get on a kick as to my fav! Right now it happens to be Vanilla Earl Grey. Next week, who knows?
Coffee ... no way!
That was until I discovered a love for good lattes ... guess it's all the dairy in it that pulls me in!!

As for coffee, Seattle's Best Breakfast Blend. It's a medium roast. I prefer a light roast coffee, but in our town it's hard to find.

I love coffee but it doesn't like me so I only have a cup or two but that's my limit or I get really jittery.
We discovered a wonderful tea drink called London Fog. It's delish! But the only other tea I like is iced tea in the summer.
