It IS going to be completed today. :D Only have 9 more blocks to applique and get the rows sewn together.

I got the 5th row done last night but when I took the picture this morning I saw that I have two purples together. I think I will take off two end blocks and use this row for the next 5-block row instead.

This is so pretty! How are you planning to quilt it?

It feels like it's going so SLOOOOOWWW right now! All of the blocks are done, all the rows are done, and now sewing a sashing row to each of 5 rows of blocks. I have 3 more to do and I can get the last 5 rows sewn together.

I got the backing pieced and it's so wrinkled. I drapped it over the quilting frame and sprayed it lightly hoping to relax them out. Think I will have to break down and iron it.

It WILL be on the frame today!!!

It's on the frame and I don't know what the heck I'm doing!! I hadn't even thought about the edge triangle design. I got to it after doing the first block... sat there at an idle... dang, just do a flower!

I'm sure my granddaughter won't be too much of a critic but you know how 9 year old girls can be.
