I would outline those adorable owls, and then do some cross hatching in the sashings. Love your quilt top!

How about some tree bark behind the owls? http://freemotionquilting.blogspot.c...tree-bark.html
or, maybe some of the other designs would interest you. I think they would make the owls "pop".

I had a quick glance at your blog- wonderful!

What about the quilting pattern you used for Josh's quilt in the background of the owls? That's a bit leafy looking and you did such a wonderful job.

I did not have a pattern for the owls I drew them and will be happy to send anyone a copy of them. You ladies are the best. Thank you so much.
