The bargello is really pretty easy to make. Go to the top of page 4 on this post and there's a link to the pattern for the 12" block. Just make one and you'll see how easy it really is. The directions explain everything. Post a picture of your block when you get it made and let me know if you think You're not up to doing one.

I am waiting too to see how this comes out. I love bargellos, but my one attempt came out too simple. I was thinking about finding a pattern to do one, so I'll watch yours come together and then decide. Great job!! Love the colors.

Thank you for posting that picture. It looks a lot like a bargello, doesn't it? What is a Bow Tucks Bag? I've seen that name on here several times but have no clue what it is. Good luck with your bag.
Thanks....The fracture occurs with using a different color strip to separate the tube pieces. Go to the PICTURES thread and scroll down to "I DID IT, MADE THE BOW TUCKS BAG....
