I'm totally with you, personally I don't like blue and brown together. Don't let it be a total waste, quilt it, learn from it and donate it to charity. I like the pattern though.

I have seen scrappy that I like and scrappy that I don't like...

But actually DOING scrappy is a different thing altogether! Just can't do it. Overthink everything!

This looks pretty good, tho. You should be proud of your scrappy attempt and practice you FMQ on it.

I thought I was the only one that can't do scrappy...LOL. I like scrappy...but I am a OCD quilter...Everything has to match or be balanced. I have decided to do a scrappy quilt in the near future...Your quilt is very pretty...

I think it turned out great. I'm the same way with scrappy- even though I may be pulling scraps to make something, I try to control where they are and what they are next to- gets frustrating.

I like scrappy, I just don't care for that combo of fabrics...I do like the pattern....When will we get to see the other one? :|
