Well after saving, thinking, dwelling, obsessing, dreaming and coveting I finally took the plunge this weekend and put down a deposit on a Longarm. I am getting the 26" Innova with a 10 ft frame. Couldn't go any bigger on the frame in my house. I can quilt up to a 96" wide quilt on it with 108" backing. Figured I'd never really do anything bigger then that anyway for myself and if I ever get good enough to quilt for others it will have to be queen size or less. I am getting my dealership's demo model which saved me a few thousand and it will still have the full warrantee. I am excited and scared at the same time. Now I have to get the room dedicated to it ready by removing everything in it! Lucky for me there isn't too much in it right now, just a bed and a dresser, our window a/c unit and a big rubbermade tote. It will be about 6 to 8 weeks because my dealer can't give up the demo until they get the replacement machine.

seems like so many are getting quilting machines these days - I'd love to have one. Enjoy - post pics when it gets there and then the quilts that will just roll off ;)

Congratulations. I've been looking into the Innova machines, but just can't afford one right now.

Congratulation! Hmmm...You are in the Albany area...I never miss a chance to play with a long arm...I may knock on your door with iced tea and cookies.
