Yes! penpals do still exist, I have several ones that quilt. As I have a fair in oct I don't have a lot of time to write ( I have to finish a lot of things to sell)but we could try and see what happens.....

We are over in the south west in the Perigord Vert, about 45 mins north of Perigueux. The weather is lovely at the moment but today it is 36C (in north facing shade) and a bit too much for doing anything - good reason for staying in the cool and sewing!

yes I know, it is too hot to work in the garden and I would love to quilt in my coolest room but I have my son, daughter in law and two granddaughters (twins) here so there is always something to do....
They will leave this night at 5 o'clock for the Netherlands and after that I will tidy up a bit because the next group of family is comming......I am very happy with my slowcooker and the BBQ!

thank you walen! I'm sorry that I have to admit I didn't look at the board for a while. Too busy with visitors, cleaning, vegetables from the garden and quilting. It's been very hot here and now it's raining the whole day!
It's good to be 62 isn't it?!
