It's a gorgeous block and you did a great job on it. I'm with you, though. It looks pretty modern. It sounds like she enjoys traditional things if she furnishes her home with antiques. While I'm CERTAIN that she will be happy with anything you make for her, a more traditional block might fit better with her decor.

I think it's beautiful. Maybe a traditional-looking border will make it look a little more traditional. I can't imagine anyone not liking it!
