Pretty quilt. Love your mistake and the floating stips.

Beautiful quilt, give it to your niece in the hospital. It makes me sad to hear people talk about things being stolen in hospitals. My father was sick for 4 years before passing away last August. We spent months and months in and out of the hospital and he always had a quilt or crocheted blanket from home with him. We didn't lose one. Give it to her and she will get a great deal of comfort from it.

Having her name on the quilt should be all that is needed to keep it safe. As a nurse, I hate to believe that things go missing in the hospital but.... :(
Great mistakes by the way.....I like your accidents!

Thanks Everyone. I'm almost packed and ready to go. I should be out of here in an hour or so.
I did quilt her name on the quilt, and my label on the back was written on the backing in red dye marker. I had already thought of all you suggestions after reading the foster child thread. Thanks.
I should have my flower pin finished before I go to the show tomorrow. I'm making it into a hair clip. It's red and yellow. Look for the short, fat lady with braided hair down to her butt. I plan on wearing all blue too. See you at the show.

Thievery really does occur in nursing homes.
A friend bought one of my quilts for her friend. When the friend died in nursing home the quilt vanished. She was really upset.
