Oh, it's really so simple. If you can trace, you can do this. Just read up a little in a quilting book. You'll see it's easier than you think.

I don't know if I've welcomed you yet so.........welcome (again) from southeastern Michigan!! I really love your pics! I never thought of pinking the edges for applique! That's a really clever idea. ;)

They are both so pretty! Did you pink the edges or did they come precut that way? I love the colors...It will be so pretty! :thumbup: :D

I pinked the edges. The pattern instructed me to do it this way and I've sewn 1/4-inch from the edges. When the quilt is washed, it's supposed to ravel at the edges like a rag quilt. Hope it works.
