This has been finished for a few days, but today was the first time I thought to unload the camera. We have used this pattern several times, because it is simple and a good learning experience.

This is another of our Christmas 2009 gifts that have been patiently waiting to be quilted.

I do have a question. Some of our others have had slightly wavy borders, but this one thinks it's in a parade! I know I can do something to minimize/prevent this - is there a tutorial somewhere to show me how?

Thanks,

Darren

This is another "Potato Chip" quilt

Did you hand quilt or machine? Long or mid arm?

Quiltzilla -

We have a Pfaff Grand Quilter, and it was done on that. This is the 5th quilt we have done on it, and all we've been brave enough to try is the meandering stitch you see here. It has a computer that is supposed to do patterns, etc, but with only 5" of space I haven't found anything I want to attempt.

Nicely done meandering stitch. Some of the loops and curves remind me of the curved stitching on the baseballs, very nice.

Very nice quilt. I like it. Wavy borders--oh I know all about them. Measure and measure again to fit and cut on the lengthwise also helps.

Love it - but why is it called "Potato Chip" quilt?
