This is me putting the binding on Jason's quilt using the method recently submitted about rolling the binding on a toilet paper roll and slipping a ribbon or something through the roll, putting the ribbon around your neck and letting the binding roll off as you are putting it on. Whew! what a long sentence!!! And what a great idea!!!! it worked wonderfully.

And here is Jason's quilt all finished. It's called "Past three birthdays" because it taken me over two years to finish. Struggled with what colors, what border, what quilting. Finally finished! It matches a picture he has over his couch. dani

Colors are not as bright as this shows

Dani, I love the quilt and love the name of it!!
Thanks for that idea for binding. Never heard of it and I'm getting ready to do a couple of them.

very nice, and you looked like you were having fun. I love making gifts for others. Wish I had more time and money to do so!

Fantastic quilt and thanks for posting a pic of the toilet tube idea...I wouldn't have quite "got it" without a picture.

Dani -

That's a great quilt - very masculine in color and pattern. I'd love to have the pattern; did you purchase it or make it up?

I love that quilt. So pretty. And the binding is great too. Great job. I'm getting ready to put the binding on my quilt and I'm trying that method too. Thanks for sharing.
