Why the niece and why not you? I know that I would be jealous
as all get out for not getting this. Has the niece done a lot for
your mom? I love at least one of my nieces, but would never bypass them for one of my daughters.

What a beautiful quilt! As long as the fingers can do the work it's amazing what can be done no matter what age. Lovely picture of your mom with the quilt.

I AM SORRY BUT I WOULS HAVE TO WORK OUT A DEAL WITH HER NEICE. I COULD NOT GIVE IT TO HER KNOWING THAT IT WAS ONE OF MY MOTHERS LAST QUILTS. MAYBE YOU COULD MAKE OR GIVE HER ONE OF YOUR MOTHER'S OTHER QUILT. GOOD LUCK AND THIS SUCH AN AWESOME QUILT. AND YOU MOM LOOK GREAT FOR BEING 87
