Hi everyone,
This is my work in progress quilt. It is 8 x 9 blocks (80 x 90). I have not sewn the blocks together yet. Will start that today. I am going to be adding a 5" border and then another color 5" border (10" borders total) to finish it off. I am planning tieing it to a fleece backing with no batting. I will be using this on our king size bed.

Any recommendations on the kind of fleece to get? Are there different kinds? I just don't have the money to have this monster quilted professionally. And these are all scraps that I had from previous quilts made. So the only money spent is going to be for the backing and what ever I need for ties. I acutally have a 40% off coupon for Joann's that I am going to get the backing with tonight.

Any feed back would be great.

Thanks a bunch.

Thank you ladies. Yes, ALOT of color. The first border is going to be a mauve color and then the outer border is going to a be mauve, green, tan floral print. I hope it will be ok. I'll have to post another picture of it whenever I get those borders on there.
