Well, it is coming along and I feel like I am making progress, but today has been discouraging! Seems like it's lots of redo work -- maybe shouldn't quilt 45 days in a row! Anyway here are a few pics of some horse blocks I have completed for a commissioned quilt. It's eventual owner will be a 13 yr old girl who trains and loves horses -- it's from her grandma. Thanks for looking!

The quilt pattern and horses are from the book Horsing Around by Darcy Ashton.

The yellow will form stars in the corner of the blocks

Very nice, did you draw the horses yourself?

Well, LastGrandma, I think You've made a tremendous beginning, if what I'm seeing is the beginning. I am sending you a pm.

I love horses, too. That's going to be one beautiful quilt. Keep going (well, take a rest first) so we can all see the final product. 45 days straight? Wow...

I have that book! I bought it at this years shop hop. My 8yr old daughter wants her next quilt to have the nine foals from that book. Did you do needle turn or fusable applique on yours? I want to get started, but I have some things I need to get finished first! Yours is looking great!
