    This is my first large quilt. The tie's were my Brother in laws and I had relatives and Friends send in tie's so that my sister would have something to wrap her in love.. New to this site would love to hear what you think.. this was a big challenge

    Thank you.. Just finished this last night and put it in the mail to her in hopes it will reach her before the 3 month Anniversary of his tragic Accident.. your kind words are very welcome..

    Dear Nanna T - your quilt will bring peace to a heart that is broken. It is very nice and the white background left me thinking of Heaven. Are those buttons I see on it too? Are the ties appliqued in place and then quilted around? Congrats to you on your accomplishment. And WELCOME to the Board. I am waving High and Wide from western Missouri.

    The Buttons are pennies that were found.." Pennies from heaven" made in to buttons.. to inspire.. The ties were applique. Thank you for your comments

    I would say that you met the challenge and then some. I love it because it is so unique. I am sure she will be thrilled. Great job!
