Meg's Bag
#1
Here's a little bag I made for a girl in our village whose birthday is this Friday. It's my own design - the background square behind the 'M' is pp that I drafted myself and the 'M' itself is fusible appliqued over the top then blanket stitched on the machine, as are the hearts which I cut freehand. The outer bag is FMQd in a meander and I gave it one long shoulder strap as that seems to be the style all the girls round here are carrying at the moment! Inside I put a mobile phone sized pocket and yes you can see pins - I just have to slip stitch the lining closed! :-D I only started making bags a little while ago and now I just can't stop!

Wow, any little girl would be delighted with it. I've not made any but I admire everyones bags. I don't have any faith that I'd finish it. Can I be your little girl then I won't have to make one, lol?

Ruth
