I first tried them out at a guild workshop when another quilter brought some to baste her quilt. She let me baste my quilt with some too. They are great!

This will be so great - arthritis in the fingers! Need to save my pennies! Thank you for sharing! Pricey but maybe we can put our heads together and think of something to use in its place.

I tried using foam and other items but they fall off. Nothing worked like the real thing I used at the workshop. That's why I ordered them. My grandmother always told me: You never forget the cost of of something that breaks or doesn't work but you never regret the cost of something that lasts and does the job it's suppose to.

They do look kind of fun, wonder if they're similar to some of the safety ear plugs we use.

I think the price of pinmoors is a trifle steep. So here is what I have done. I have gone to the dollar store and bought erasers (the dense white ones) in packs of three for a dollar and then cut them into cubes with the xacto knife. These work perfectly and at very little expense. We all have ball top pins to use.
