I found this book at a used book site and fell in love with it, so I wanted to share. I decided I would make all 50 state stars and make them into two throw quilts. IF  I live that long. At least maybe get the tops made and let whoever do the quilting. Here is north Dakota:

Carol Doak is my hero. She made a presentation at our guild last year, and gave two classes. She is a GREAT teacher and an even better speaker. She has a yahoo group (of course I'm a member), and is planning on a couple cruises in the next couple years. I REALLY want to go .... she would be an absolute delight.

BTW, I find her patterns and directions to be straightforward and easy to follow. Keep us updated on your progress and ENJOY!
