I have been married for 38 years and I never dreamed in my wildest dreams that dh would sew/quilt.
He is so excited to put the binding on today. but of course the golf game with the guys comes first. I can just see him coming in the door and picking up his quilt and disappearing for a while... AGAIN !!
Here is a pic of how he quilted it.. he didn'want to do sitd because he would be out of the ditch more then in it.. lol
he chose to do diagonal thru the sq.. I showed him alot of quilts on this site and he went with this for his first time.. stay tune for binding and the finalee !

his quilt is bunched up on a chair.. sssshhhh don't tell him that I didn't lay it out nice for a picture !!

Tell him my husband said that is a quilt he doesn't like all those fancy ones.

He did a good job too and a very nice selection of fabric involved.

ok i had to help pin on binding beause its not very wide due to the fact that he has a small outer border.. i explained to him that if the border was wider then the binding could be a bit wider..
he said he has big hands and that is some little stuff ! well,, it's time to see what he really has because the border is being sewn on now.. gonna take a while I think so again,,, stay tuned !
