Thanks Loretta! The clematis is 6 years old and the flowers are really big ones! It's called 'Alice Fisk' and I bought it not long after my mil died....her name was Alice and I really loved my mum in law! It's been in the same tub ever since! It seems to keep coming back even better every year.....I like to think that Alice is still making sure I'm looking after her boy!! lol!

What a beautiful and inspiring garden. It must bring you hours of pleasure, both in the labor and in the relaxation.

What a little jewel of a yard! I love to sit outside and read, but my big bobo of a dog will NOT leave me alone, so I mostly don't go out there.

what a beautiful meditation garden.
I would love having such a peaceful place outdoors, IF it wasn't 100 degrees in the shade! Aw, gotta love that Memphis weather.

Karenmay - You might not believe me, but your pictures make me homesick. It is far more difficult here to grow plants than in the U.K., we are quite high up in the hills, and have constant winds - cold in winter and scorching in summer, which dessicate alot of the plants...so you see we moan about the U.K. weather, but it is a great place to grow plants!!

Your garden looks fantastic....gardening used to be my favourite pastime until I got hooked on quilting.....!!! :D
