I couldn't get a very good pic of this tonight and need to get it boxed up to mail tomorrow. But anyway this is my first time trying one of these and it took me probably about 5 hours total to get the whole pillow done. This includes doing that middle circle 3 times. Or was it 4? Anyway. I like how it turned out but I kinda wish I'd picked another fabric instead of the purple dot. It almost blends in with the brown background. I made it for my mom to match the cathedral windows pillow I made for her last Mother's Day. I used the same green for the border that I used for the other pillow and also used some of the freebird charm pack I had leftover from it. The brown and green are Kona cotton. I used the Easy Dresden Ruler to make the dresden petals.

the 2nd pic is the cathedral windows pillow from last spring. That was my first time making one of those too.

Those are beautiful!!! I really like the cathedral window pillow - but only because it has more green than the dresden plate pillow. :-D

Both are stunning, but I like the cathedral windows the best. No, I like the dresden the best. No....I can't decide! Both are gorgeous!
