I was hand quilting & ended up with a infected finger. The needle gone under my nail on my left hand. So my quilt has to wait for my finger to heal.

Soak it in water with salt, or you can make a baking soda paste put it on until it dries then simply wipe it off. It will draw out the infection quickly and make healing alot speedier.

ACk I am sorry you have such a boo boo during the holidays. I would hate for that to happen to anyone at anytime but now is just plain bad. Hope you can heal pretty fast.
