This is my latest quilt! Started it a couple of years ago from scraps, and just now I'm getting around to actually quilting it. Am stitching in the ditch around all the squares with my regular sewing machine, which means I go around the outside of the 4-patches and push the quilt through the hole of the machine 9 times every row. Alex Anderson's quilt lady says you can quilt anything if you just "fluff and stuff" so that's what I'm doing! (my shoulders ache)

Me again---these pictures are in the sewing room my husband made for me. He made the table the quilt is spread out on, too--it spreads out to about 6 feet square. The sides fold down so it's just 6 feet by about 3 feet, when I don't need it opened out. It's 42 inches tall, so my back doesn't hurt to work on it. He also made the storage shelves and put mechanic's wire on the inside so the cats aren't tempted to make nests on my fabric!

It is beautiful and will be worth the agony when it is done.

Love your quilt. It may be awful trying to quilt it, but it sure will be worth it! LOVE your cabinets and your quilting table. You're blessed!!!

Sue Ellen that is a great quilt, but I think you are really lucky to have that room and those shelves. Everything looks so organized. Lucky you and I bet you have a great time working in there. I sitich in the ditch on most of my quilts but by hand since I can't get the quilt top to go in the space right. as a result I am way behind of the quilting.LOL

Beautiful quilt and I especially love that table and shelves. I would like to have a table like that, but no room.
