I was wondering if any one else is going to this show?
I am attending one of the days with my charity sewing club. I thought we might be able to at least meet and say hello off to the side, or in front of a beautiful quilt. It is nice to put a face to the name on the post.
Jean from MI but now in FL for the rest of the winter.

Hi, I am going early on Friday as I am taking bookmarks for our show, Quilting Under the Palms, on Feb. 11, info on QuiltersCrossing.net. (held in Clearwater, FL)
Our guild was part of the Largo guild years ago. The Largo Show is great with a terrific group of girls. I will be in line at 10 when they open. I am tall. Not sure what I will be wearing.

quilt shows are so much fun. The sponsoring guild will have lots of quilts on display. they ususally have their area for sales of items they made.
There will be vendor booths to purchase from. Some may do demonstrations.
There may be a room with trunk shows (speakers). They are on whatever topic has been chosen. always interesting.
Bring money and camera. Always ask permission to take a picture. Some will not allow it, others do. I have had booths allow my photo because I purchase the supplies to make that project. Oh, and did I say bring credit card and money!!
They ususally serve a nice lunch very reasonably priced.
If you are anywhere near, you should try to attend. I would drive quite a distance to attend a good one.
