Have you thought about borders yet? Do you want to?  I'd go with a skinny inner border of one of the dark cube fabrics to really frame it off, before a lighter outer border then bind again in a dark. :-D Ignore me if you like of course - but those were the ideas leaping into my head while I looked at it.

You've made my day K. You know how I value your opinion. I'm going to play around with the borders but I like your idea.

Wonderful! :D :D :D

EDIT: went back for a second look - you were right to leave out the solid cube in your second pic - too dominant. Your final layout is perfect! :-D
Thanks for the feedback K. You know how I value your opinion. I'm going to play around with the borders but like your idea.

They come from the second OBW book called OBW Encore. Soon I'll get the nerve to go to book 3, OBW Cubed. Making these cubes are the greatest fun. I'm in awe of the brain power that figured these out.

I agree with what k3n said, regarding borders. I always like to see some of the original fabric in the border as well, if you have enough or some sections of a border perhaps 3-4" wide. This paisley fabric worked wonderfully. You are on your way now, join the addicted crowd.

I had to bookmark that -- I am getting in the mood to make my second one. Good job! It looks like it might be a 12" repeat, is that right? I'm always amazed at all the different designs it makes.

At first it looked like a bee's honeycomb. Really like it and the cubes really set it off.

I do have enough of the original to add into the border. I love the addiction. Thanks
