Got all my basket blocks done and trying to decide on the applique. Part of me thinks the flower looks good and another part of me thinks it looks too cluttered. Does it need to be smaller, look fine as is or do without?

It depends on the setting, and how many blocks I suppose. But honestly I like it better without. Your prints are awesome!

I love the flower, but maybe smaller? It looks over sized by its self in there, or drop it down and add a smaller one on either side to fill the basket area? :D:D:D

Maybe a tiny bit smaller, but it's really quite pretty just the way it is.....

I think it looks great without the flower. If you do decide on the flower applique, I think smaller would be more in scale with the rest of the block.

I think they look great, if you think they look cluttered maybe alternate them

Okay, so either get rid of the flower or make it smaller (and reposition it). Decisions, decisions. :)

I like both ways, but I would suggest that if you put the second leaf (one on the right side) across at the bottom of the flower, that it would center it out better in the triangular space. Just my opinion. Doing a great job tho.

Not sure how this will be arranged, but if you alternated blocks with and without the flower? Personally I really like the flower :)
