My name is Donna and I been wanting to start quilting for about 7 yrs. I'm WAS so affraid of taking something like quilting on. I think my fears have finally been put to bed. I'm getting excited about tackling one.
Any suggestions what would be a good quilt to start off with. I love stars and log cabin quilts, I'm very drawn to these. But I don't know if that would be good place to start or not. Would love any suggestions on where to start and what I should start on.
Thanks

Welcome from NY!

One of my first quilts, years ago, was a log cabin. It's a nice pattern for beginners, most of the seams come to T-shapes rather than full corners, so there is less worry about perfectly matching corners. I think a log cabin would be a great place to start!
