I got my power back on! woo hoo....although not to get too excited....we are expecting a new snow storm tonight and will probably have 8 inches on the ground by morning...ugh!

Still, so happy to be back home and now going thru the fridge to throw out all the spoiled food...don't want to get food poisoning.

Barb, a couple of years ago we had a horrible storm which left us powerless for a whole week. Luckily it was in September so it wasn't too hot and we have a gas hot water heater but it still was the PITS~!
Now I really want a treadle after that week :D:D
Glad you have your power back.

Glad to be back home...and thankfully, the overnight storm only produced 4inches of snow, so it was no biggie.

Glad you are OK, Also glad my DH was Y2K prepared. We have a generator that he hooks up to the breaker box. Flip a switch and you are back in business.

I considered a generator after the 2nd day, but there were none to be found in this area.

And fortunately, this is only the 1st time in my 19 years living here, that I've ever been without power for more than 24 hours.
