No, I have never had that happen to me. I hope someone can help you figure it out.

I have had that happen to me. There are certain things that are barred sitewide -- for example, certain websites. I used to be able to write out the complete click-link for Yahoo! groups, for example, but that is no longer allowed whether in a post or a PM.

There are certain websites/urls that cannot be transmitted through PMs.
No one is reading your PM, but the server picks up on these or other key words and does not allow the PM to be sent. :D:D:D

And it's not like the list is compiled by the board or even IB. It's a general outside internet filter list.

I remember trying to post (not PM) the link to an "I Have A Notion" blog entry back in December.

It would not let me.

I tried every combination - main page, blog entry before and after the one I wanted.
Somehow that site just got on the list.

I had one two days ago that I received and it would bring it up then blink a couple of times and disappear. I had to read between blinks. lol
