Quilting storage?
Hello everyone,
I am needing some good ideas for setting up a small area in the dining room next to my china cabinet for use while sewing/quilting ..... I am downsizing from an actually bedroom to this area and need some ideas that would -fit into the open house area. I'm a visual person, so picture ideas would be very helpful too!,, Thanks so much!....

Take a look in the Mission:Organization forum, as many have posted pics of their sewing areas. Lots of ideas!
For me, I like the idea of antique furniture (or whatever fits/blends with your home) ... A Hoosier cabinet? a secretary desk? etc. However, those things are something you come across ... and doesn't get you set up immediately.

I use barrister bookcases. Wrap the fabric neatly around my cutting ruler, slip it off and stack the fabric by colors. That way I can see it but it is protected from dust or whatever. If you don't want the fabric visible you could cover the glass.
