Default Block 6 of Back to Nature...but, um... and I'm going to leave it like this!

It went great until I had to trim a two part rectangle. I needed a 60* line on a ruler and only one of mine has one and it wasn't the right size. The piece had to be trimmed to 2.5 by 4.5 and the ruler is only 4" wide-it just wouldn't work. So--I guessed then made all those blocks the same. So there's not a point where one should be--but I think I'll just call it a "different idea." ;-) My husband couldn't see the problem--and unless Jenny does--I'm leaving it. I think because everything else matches perfectly--it looks okay. Yup, yup, yup!

I was looking ahead in this pattern and I run into the same kind of situation in block 9--so I'll need to look for the right ruler. The block in that one is part of a border so it has to be perfect. Gosh--I have SO many rulers--but all except one has only a 45* line.

Hey--can I use a Tri-Rec ruler??? I have those but haven't used them yet.

It doesn't matter, your fabrics are so beautiful, nobody is going to notice a difference.

Works for me. I think it looks great. Wish my "problems quilts" turned out this well.
