Here is a tie quilt I just finished. I made it for a lady in my church. Her husband was a retired minister. He died a few years ago. She had 171 ties that he wore. She asked me if I could make a quilt out of them. I wouldn't take any money to make it. She found out I wanted a treadle sewing machine. She had two. She gave me one of them. That was a great deal.
