Default Snow day...sew day!

Hi,
No school for us, today! So, you know where I'll be this afternoon. DH is cooking up a turkey for dinner later on. Life is good.
Hope everyone is safe and warm,
lots2do (and planning to get loads done)

I do morning housework, afternoon sewing. Get a little of each done. Of course, everything shut down doesn't bother me much as I am a retiree. That being said, this has been a long miserable winter here in OH. Good thing I have lots of toys to play with in my sewing room.

Oh yes, we do have to make up our snow days. That's why my DH (also a teacher)hates them. Well, that and the snow removal, too. I don't really mind, it feels like a free day even though it's really not. I've had a lot of sick kids so I'm hoping this might help. (Six out the other day. Makes it hard to work on something new).

Enjoy your day. I will be in my sewing room also. Just got all the blocks made for my "Ohmygosh " quilt, now to sew them all together.

Okay doing the vacuuming was a bad choice today. I did something to my lower back right down where the pelvis is. I am now sitting very carefully in a comfortable chair with the heating pad and pain killers. No sewing or anything else for me today!

Snow day for me as well. We have 4 days built in our school calendar. Planned on a sew-a-thon, then had a call - the grandgirls had no place to go as the daycare closed....so....they are enjoying the day with me. Color books and crayons and movies work for us!

I have been ordered to stay in my sewing room today and wear my PJ's all day.

Wind chill is suppose to be around -1 today and the snow is falling off and on.
