It seems when Joann's has the 50o/o off coupons they put just about everything else on sale at a lesser discount. I have to wonder if that's a plan. I hardly ever get to use the coupons then.

I was there wed, 7/16. Quilting notions were on sale, including rulers, but other notions were regular price.

I went yesterday and got a pressing board and quilting ruler. Wish they would bring in some new products at our store

You can go online to purchase one item at the 50% off, even if it is on sale....they allow it online, but not in the store.
Just place it in your cart and use your 50% off coupon code, it makes it 50% off the original price. Of course, you cannot use the free shipping code, since they only allow one code. So it is best to shop the 50% off sale, then use your shipping code.
Confusing, isn't it?

That is the very reason I don't shop Joann's anymore. I prefer to support my dealer and LQS. They are individuals and appreciate my business more than the big box stores.

I spoke with a manager about that and was told I could use my coupon on utility fabric. Asked her what she was talking about and shee said ironing board fabric. I turned around and walked out empty handed. As far as I am concerned it is a tactic to get you in the store. Lucky for me I don't have to drive far to get to one. I am hoping glue is not on sale at a lesser price as that iss what I need.
