Default Quilting Machine Electrical Cords

I am finally getting to set up the room for my HQ 16. I would like to devise a system that would hold the cord above the machine and allow the machine to move from one end of the frame to the other. I have thought of some kind of rod with hangers (like those shower curtain hangers with rollers) that would travel smoothly. I don't want to be tripping over the cord all the time, and I am more than capable of doing that!😄. Have any of you invented such a system for your machine and could you give some guidance/pictures? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

You may want to study the studios of both Caryl Bryer Fallert, and Leah Day. Caryl Bryer Fallert's studio is at Bryerpatch.com. Not sure of Leah Day's website, but on each I have seen that they use ceiling mounted hardware to take the tension off the quilts they are working on. Fallert even has retractible cords mounted to the ceiling all over her huge studio.

I hope that with your new machine, you have it plugged into a serge protector. I have ALL my electronics on serge protector for when out electric company blew up my answering machine along with my neighbors. I HOPE that someone has an idea because I would like to do the same with my plugged in headset. I love listening to music when I quilt.

I can't do a picture right now but my husband put up a wire (plastic covered) just like you would do a clothesline, it's about 8" from the ceiling just behind the machine and it goes from wall to wall, I put a shower curtain hook on it and then the machine cord, I left a loop in it so it usually didn't have to slide, it works very well.
