Default Happy Mother's Day!

Well, I was able to get the quilting finished last night on the table runner for my mom. I'm really new at FMQ, so I was having a lot of fun and experimenting with this one. Sorry for the silly picture quality. I'll get some proper pictures after I bind it tonight.

Your mother will love it. I need to practice FMQ more. Can't believe that you are new at it.

Aw! Thank you. If I posted close up pix, you'd be able to see how much of a novice I am, but I have fun with it.

it's a beautiful table runner and the quilting looks just great. i have been quilting and fmq'ing for a long time and i still can't get up the nerve to do what you did; just meandering/doodling (that's what i call it). yours looks awesome.

Thank you! I really didn't either until I discovered Leah Day. She has hundreds of ideas posted and short, quick and easy videos showing exactly how to do them. You should check some out and play around. I bet yours would look great! My biggest issue is keeping speed and stitching consistent. I have little foot jumps and end up with tiny stitches, or will go too slow and end up with a couple really long ones.
