Tablecloth to Quilt
I was asked to post anything new. Previous quilt post was "twenty-five hours",.
This was a "treasure Challenge". Most participants received vintage quilts. I drew the tablecloth. I did not win but learned a lot about feathers. uh! used the quilted pineapples rulers for the curved crosshatching. Thread was a pink glide thread. Two layers of batting: hobbs 80/20 and hobbs tuscany wool. Soo many hours I quit counting. Because of the open lace, I was allowed to use a liner fabric. Pink fabric.

Cool. As long as you get an honorable mension, it's ok that you don't win. People see your quilts and thru the quilt they hear a story. I still have yet to learn fm quilting. I love to hand quilt and basting a quilt, but have yet to purchase a real quilting hoop.
