Default Quality of Aria Butterfly fabric Kate Spain by Moda

Hi; I am thinking of using this as a quilt backing. I got a tiny strip of it but it feels a little thin. Has anyone used this? Any thoughts on the quality?

I don't have that particular fabric but I have lots of Kate Spain for Moda and the quality is lovely.

I never buy that fabric. I would suggest washing and drying some of it.see how it feels then.
It works with towels and washcloths. They always feel thicker after laundering them.

I wouldn't buy or use any fabric with Kate Spain's name on it.

NoraB, I'm not Onebyone but like her I will not buy any fabric with Kate Spain's name on it. I don't know Onebyone's reasons so I can only express my own. I personally did not like how she went after a quilt designer who used her (Kate Spain's) fabrics in a quilt and this quilt pattern was then published by CT publishing. CT publishing then made a digital copy of this quilt and printed it on a tote bag. Ms. Spain then sic her lawyers onto this quilt designer for copyright infringement and demanded that the tote bags as well as the books that this quilt appeared in be destroyed.

I really don't like people who are lawyer crazy. I just read the article that Sync was referring to. Thanks for the heads up!

I do not use or purchase Kate Spain for that same reason.
