Lightbulb moment re donated something-or-others
I was given a boatload of fabric and among all the bits and pieces of precut squares there were a bunch of squares that had been sewn together, some with one end open (I assume for turning) and some not. I have no idea what the thought process was with these.
I was considering ripping the seams and recycling the fabric but had an "aha!" moment while cutting fabric for a binding this morning. I'm just going to cut the seams off those puppies. They'll still be squares, just slightly smaller. Best of all, it will take a fraction of the time ripping would.
This is usually the kind of thing that wakes me up at 3 a.m. and keeps me from falling back to sleep. At least this time it happened mid-morning!
