Default Yo Yo Rows pattern

Is anyone familiar with this pattern?
I pulled it from an American Patchwork and Quilting Magazine June 2011.
I lost one of the pages .... the one that shows how to attach the yo yo's to the fabric.
Has anyone ever made this and if so, are the yo yo's hand sewn on? or machine sewn? or is there a magic way that saves time (hoping there is )

Here's another QB thread that sort of asked the same question. Attaching yo yo's to quilt--help please!

The pattern you are doing is referenced about halfway down this page. http://myquiltplace.com/forum/topics/yo-yo-quilts
Hope someone has the pattern and can help you out.

I did the same as Murphy 224. Hand stitched the yo yos to the strips and then machine stitched the rows together. Handquilted in circles around yo yos. I did mine in black with batik yo yos. It was beautiful but I thought it made a heavy quilt.

Thank you for posting a photo. Your quilt is stunning. Can you tell me what width you used for the strips?

The pattern says the width is 62". I gave the quilt to a friend and don't remember the strip size. Do you know Murphy 224?

Copycat.... I have part of the pattern which calls for the width of the strips to be 3 1/2"
