Default 2nd quilt with cactus fabric

I recently bought two really cute fabrics with cactus on them. I sort of thought they would work in the same quilt, but that didn't work out. So I made two quilts. The first I posted a couple of weeks ago. And I just finished the second one.

I am pleased with it, which is always nice. (Sometimes I make a quilt and wonder what I was thinking…)

It is simply a square of the focus fabric alternating with a four patch. No pattern name or anything to pass on.

Thanks for looking.

Dina

Adorable prints and color. You brought the fabric to life.

I agree with you, I saw the first quilt. It was a good move to make separate quilts. I don't think the focus fabrics would have complimented each other. (Just my opinion. No harm meant.)

So, now you have 2 adorable cactus quilts.

Thanks, I am pleased with both quilts. I think I actually knew when I bought them that they didn't go together, but I thought each was just plain cute. My husband and I live in the country and have been digging out prickly pear cactus plants most of the spring/summer on our 19 acres...shovel, hoe, ax, and persistence. I have always liked cactus, but now that I know how much they really take over a pasture and how hard they are to remove, I don't have such a good opinion of them.

So I decided that I prefer my cactus on fabric and not in the way of the nature trail we are creating. )
