Hi. Please help. I’m in lockdown in South Africa and trying to do some sewing on my late mums machine but it will not zigzag or do any fancy stitches. Straight stitch only.
tried all the dial settings and no luck. Can I fix this problem myself or do I have to get someone in. I hope I haven’t broken it.

Have you thoroughly oiled this machine? It can make an amazing difference.

Thank you, yes I’ve oiled it well. It was working perfectly then I went to change the stitch size and moved the front zigzag dial and now ..... problem! There doesn’t seem to be any uTube tutorials on this machine either.

So I sat and ran the machine for 10 minutes again,just going straight when I was meant to be zigzagging and hey—- it started working again. Perhaps I needed all the oil to do its job. Thanks for the help.
