Awwww. Lucky you. I miss my kitty.
He's been gone for close to 15 years. A couple years ago, I was sitting at my desk sewing. It was late evening, everything was quiet, my husband was on a business trip, the kids were in bed. I heard a cat meow outside my window and automatically, without thinking, got up to let him in. Took 3 steps and remembered that he'd been gone for years. Burst into tears. I still miss him, he had the most awesome personality.

I can relate. Hurt so badly losing him I can't get another.

A very handsome/pretty cat. Enjoy him/her as long as you can.

I used to have that "problem" - one of my cats tried to catch the needle bar going up and down.

Miss them all - a lot.

It is awful to lose them. My last one died right after his birthday but no one could remember if he was 19 or 20. Gypsy currently rules this house and she has to be involved in trimming all quilts.

My white cat liked to stretch out on his side on fabrics - as long as he could - and then he would press his "hair release button"

What an enchanting photo of a kitty enjoying your quilt! Sometimes I think my dogs enjoy my quilts just a little too much.
