Default MC10000 versus MC10001

Can someone tell me what updates were included with the MC10001 versus the MC10000?
Somehow when I took my machine in for a cleaning that had the update on it is now back to the MC10000.

I’m wondering what I’ve lost out on and if I should complain.

The answers to your questions are something we will have to search the web and look up. Before I dive in trying to research this, I have to ask....Have you looked at the machine website to find the difference? Did you talk to the tech about what is missing? What didhe do when he serviced your machine? Is the difference an update that you did? If so, can you do it again?
I Googled mc10000 vs mc10001 There is lots of info out there.

Hi DLyte My wife owned from new 10000 and upgraded to a 10001, in the early 2000's. the upgrade was software glitches some extra design's and expanded file storage, We had this machine for a few years with great service and traded it for 11000se which she still has, and users frequently mainly for towel embroidering. If you go to Janome's upgrade site, the upgrade is probably still there and you would have to load the download onto the Memory card to install it into the machine. If you have the handbook it will show you how to load the update from the card into machine. I would definitely challenge the Teck about why it has reverted back to the 10000 format
