Ok well I was in a 'Quilting slump' as I had alot of WIP's that still needed alot of work before they could be finished.. So... I decided to start a new quilt and get a feeling of accomplishment back in me.. I took 20 fat quarters (20 floral designs that I definitely could live without just in case this ended up being the ugliest quilt top in the world) Squared them up to 18 inches.. yea I had to swap out a few as they were smaller than 18 inches- go figure- boy did i feel cheated on those!.. made 2.5 strips from the leftover fabric for the center border.. Stacked all 18 (ok well 5 at a time) and whacked them in size divisible by 3 and Ta-da!!! 5 hrs later, my ugly floral top was created.. Ha, and its not even that ugly too..

One Christmas gift checked off my list.. Yay!

Wow, turned out very pretty for a "thought it could be ugly" quilt. Good job! I hope you feel better and energized to quilt some more.

Yea, I was needing an 'immediate' fix.. This quilt turned out better than the ugliness that I thought it would be.. Ha, Who knew!
